USE ON ROADS IN SUB-DIVISIONS IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF LOGAN COUNTY
On January 15, 2021 the Board of County Commissioners of Logan County, Oklahoma, pursuant to 47 O.S. 11-1116, approved the use of golf carts and utility vehicles on public roads within sub-divisions in the unincorporated areas of Logan County. The Home Owner’s Association (HoA), or residents if no HoA exists, of the sub-division may submit a petition to the Board of County Commissioners of Logan County, Oklahoma requesting specific roads be made available to golf carts and/or utility vehicles.
To be eligible the following requirements apply:
All roads on which golf carts and/or utility vehicles will be used must be dedicated to public use.
The HoA or residents must pay and install speed limit signs of not more than 25mph.
The HoA or residents must pay and install signs indicating that golf carts and/or utility vehicles are in use on the roadway.
